From finally being reunited with our pub after 15 years and the renovation that followed to more recent times of great days/nights and good vibes...

Summer 2022
Summer time in the Cotswolds! We have had a great time with lots of live music, great real ales, introducing Chef Tom's lovely menus and of course meeting and getting to know some very lovely people!
The Old Crown Festival 2022
We always wanted to do something in memory of the late landlady Sandra Morgan (Kate, Alan & Chris's Mum) and this is what we came up with! It was a lot of fun and we think she would of approved! We are already looking forward to and planning the next one - Friday 8th to Sunday 10th September 2023!
Finally Reopening! - April 2022
Aw finally getting those doors open for Easter weekend! It was a happy, exciting time for us to finally re-open again. We asked the lovely Mayor of Dursley, Symon Ackroyd to do the honours so he came along to say a few words and 'cut' the ribbon for us! Then it was all systems go for a super busy Easter weekend which was wonderful and so perfect to have a buzzing vibrant pub again after many months of us quietly renovating the pub and working behind closed doors.
The Renovation - November 2021
As well as essential repairs to the roof and walls, we started to rebuild, being ever careful and sympathetic to the old features whilst aiming for a fresh clean look. Nothing was ever simple and a number of DIY you tube videos were watched haha! But it was great to see it all really starting to take shape.
The Renovation - October 2021
Uncovering the carpet and the older bar parquet where the 'Old' Old Crown bar used to be! Who remembers those the first time round?? Carefully restoring the Cotswold stone and painstakingly restoring the old bar parquet floor to make a new bar floor.. well it took some time but we think it was the right move to care for these old features. Oh and some Halloween fun!
The Renovation - September 2022
The inital 'serious' (well as serious as we can get lol) fish'n'chip meetings with beer in a 'bucket' (which turned out to be Guy's saucepan!), Jack Russell terrier input and generally making a start on realising a long awaited vision for a rejeuventaed Old Crown!
